Samantha Ferrara
Samantha Ferrara is a frequent performer in New York and New Jersey, and made her Carnegie Hall solo debut in May 2019 under the baton of Maestro John Rutter. A resident of Bernardsville, Ms. Ferrara sings with multiple professional choral ensembles, including Sonaré & the Continuo Arts Symphonic Chorus (Candace Wicke, conductor), Vocala (Martin Sedek, conductor) and the Mid-Atlantic Chamber Choir (Jason Tramm, conductor). Onstage credits include Sondheim on Sondheim, Ragtime (Evelyn Nesbit), Secret Garden (Lily Craven), Mary Poppins (Mary Poppins), and The Hunchback of Notre Dame at Papermill Playhouse. She is a graduate of Westminster Choir College of Rider University with a B.M. in Music Education and a minor in Musical Theatre.
Ms. Ferrara serves as Programs Manager & Assistant Conductor at the Continuo Arts Foundation, a non-profit performing arts organization whose mission is to further music education, exposure, and appreciation from generation to generation. She is a frequent children’s theater director and music director throughout New Jersey, working with Broadway & Beyond in Summit, Exit 82 Theatre in Tom’s River, and Madison Public Theatre in Madison. She is on faculty at the New Jersey Conservatory of Music teaching voice and audition prep, and has served as Alto Section Leader at St. Bernard’s Episcopal Church for the past twelve years.
