Praised as a “riveting baritone” (Cleveland Classical), Mark Hosseini is a frequent performer of vocal music across a wide range of styles and time periods. Some notable stage performances include Emile de Becque in South Pacific with Suncoast Broadway Dinner Theatre, John Brooke in Little Women with Hawaii Performing Arts Festival, Masetto in Don Giovanni with Winter Opera St. Louis, Papageno in The Magic Flute with OPERA Iowa (Des Moines Metro Opera), El Gallo in The Fantasticks with Ohio Light Opera, Melchior in Amahl and the Night Visitors with Opéra Louisiane, the Pirate King in The Pirates of Penzance with Ohio Light Opera, Jim in The Gift of the Magi with Delaware Valley Opera, Signor Naccarelli in The Light in the Piazza with Eastman Opera Theatre, Ottone in L’incoronazione di Poppea with Eastman Opera Theatre, Pandolfe in Cendrillon with Eastman Opera Theatre, and Dr. Falke in Die Fledermaus with Oakland University Opera. Mark has completed Young Artist Training Programs at Des Moines Metro Opera, Ohio Light Opera, Opera Delaware, and Sarasota Opera. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Oakland University and a master’s degree from The Eastman School of Music.
