Tenor William Lim has performed for various companies including Opera Philadelphia, Opera MODO, Poor Richard’s Opera, Center City Opera Theater, Concert Operetta Theater, Opera in the Ozarks, and Opera New Jersey. As a professional chorister, he sings with the Philadelphia Singers, Vox Ama Deus, the Archdiocesan Choir of Philadelphia, St. Paul’s Episcopal Chestnut Hill Church Choir, and Singing City. His roles include Gherardo in Gianni Schicchi, Guillot de Morfortaine in Manon, and Mayor Upfold in Albert Herring. He created the roles of After de Monk and Beau Nash in Julian Livingston’s Napa de Monk, Queen of the Lost Waters, and Beau of Bath. He was a featured Young Artist in the 2009 season of Opera in the Ozarks, and there, he received the Outstanding Colleague award. He also served as Studio Artist in the 2011 Opera New Jersey Victoria Mastrobuono Emerging Artist Program. He was a featured performer in the 2010 American Musicological Society conference.
