Suzanne Chadwick, Contralto, has sung with The Spoleto Festival dei due Mondi, Opera Festival of New Jersey, The Princeton Festival, The Little Opera Theater of New York, Berks Opera, ConcertOPERA Philadelphia, Empire Opera, One World Symphony, The Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra, Opera Company of Brooklyn, American Singers’ Opera Project, and the Austrian/American Mozart Academy. Ms. Chadwick has also worked extensively as a choral member throughout New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, and on such recordings as Pagliacci (Muti / Philadelphia Orchestra), Honneger’s Joan of Arc (Masur/New York Philharmonic) and Dvorak’s Stabat Mater (Macal/New Jersey Symphony). Additionally, she has served as a Staff Singer/Section Leader at St. Paul’s in Chestnut Hill, PA and Trinity Episcopal in Moorestown, NJ. Other credits: Florence (Yeston/Kopit Phantom), Rosemary Clooney’s White Christmas (Sands, Atlantic City), and originating the role of “Mrs. K” in the new musical, The Real Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Along with her husband, Michael, Ms. Chadwick owns/manages The Village Carolers and can be heard on their recording, Sing We Now of Christmas. Favorite roles performed include Dame Quickly (Falstaff), La Zia Principessa (Suor Angelica), Marthe (Gounod’s Faust), Maddalena (Rigoletto), Dritte Dame (The Magic Flute), and Mary of Bethany (Passion).
