Paul Holmes, bass, is a professional choral singer based in New York. Currently, he sings with the Marble Collegiate Sanctuary Choir, the Salvatones, the Collegiate Chorale, and the Greenwich Village Chamber Singers, and participated this past summer in the Bard Music Festival. Since earning his BA in Music from Yale University in 2013, he has competed with electronic a cappella group a.squared on NBC’s “The Sing-Off”, sung with a quartet on Bravo’s “Odd Mom Out”, and recorded Misa De Teresa De Ávila 500 Años, commissioned by the Carmelites. For two summers, Paul was a Young Artist with Ohio Light Opera, singing in over 100 performances of 12 musical theatre and operetta productions.
Paul studies voice with Hugo Vera. When not singing, Paul is likely making artisan bread and pizza, sharing a cheese plate with his girlfriend, or enjoying Fort Tryon Park. He’d love it if you checked out his website, paulandrewholmes.com.
