Soprano Julie Lauren Stevens is quickly distinguishing herself as a powerhouse performing artist in New York and around the world. Deemed “the next great American voice” by legends Dalton Baldwin and Marni Nixon, Ms. Stevens continues to receive praise and recognition for her versatile vocal prowess in everything from opera to contemporary musical theater. Miss Stevens’s performing credits span the world and include performances with the Tiroler Opern in Austria, Theatro Municipal Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, and Carnegie Hall in New York. Highlights of her operatic career include Alice (Falstaff), Countess (Le Nozze di Figaro), Mrs. Pinkerton (The Old Maid and the Thief), and Elizabeth (Tannhäuser). In addition to her extensive opera career, Julie has also performed leading roles Off-Broadway in the new musicals The Bride of Frankenstein and The Devil of Delancey Street in which she gained critical praise for her portrayal of five unique characters.
