Holly Gash, international soprano, has performed over twenty leading opera roles and has been the soprano soloist in several oratorios in the United States, Italy and Central America, including Guatemala City, San Jose, Costa Rica, San Salvador and Managua, Nicaragua. After graduating from Loyola University with degrees in Clarinet Performance and Music Therapy, she decided to pursue her enthusiasm for singing and completed her Masters’ Degree in Vocal Performance at the University of Arkansas. Ms. Gash has apprenticed with the Austin Lyric Opera, Virginia Opera, Amarillo Opera and Knoxville Companies. Leading roles in her career have included Luisa Miller, Desdemona in Otello, Violetta in La Traviata, Leonora in La Forza del Destino Countess in Le Nozze di Figaro, Fiordiligi from Cosi Fan Tutte, the Governess in Britten’s Turn of the Screw, Elizabeth Proctor in The Crucible, Elle in Poulenc’s La Voix Humaine, Nedda from Leoncavallo’s I Pagliacci, Madame Butterfly, Tosca, Liu in Turandot, Suor Angelica, Antonia in The Tales of Hoffmann, Rosalinda in Die Fledermaus and Massenet’s Thais. Ms. Gash received many auspicious reviews for her New York Debut with Brooklyn’s Vertical Repertoire Opera Company’s title role in the Baroque opera Cavalli’s Calisto. Oratorio engagements have included Handel’s Messiah, Rossini’s Stabat Mater, Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, Faure’s Requiem and Mozart’s Requiem. Ms. Gash and her husband Tim Bryan are proud newcomers to Yardley, Pennsylvania.
